We serve as a ministry partner to the local church. The Sermon Network has been in operation since 2005, and during that time has helped publish thousands of hours of sermon content on the web. The Sermon Studio management system, Sermon Players, and the Sermon Network website http://sermon.net were established to help our partner ministries share the Word of God worldwide. We are thankful for the opportunity to serve your ministry!
Co-Founder and Vice President of Technology
David is one of the visionaries behind sermon.net, and wears many hats around here. While leading the team in maintaining, supporting, and evolving the system, he brings a smile and his A-game every day. When it’s time to cut the cord Dave ventures in to the Great White North, and upon returning can be spotted wearing open toed sandals during our mild Oklahoma blizzards.
Vice President of Operations
Scott joined the team in 2006 and is focused on the operations of sermon.net and taking excellent care of our users. Away from work you might find him watching the Oklahoma City Thunder and Oklahoma State Cowboys, walking his dogs, or enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.
Better known as the Tomb Raider, Lauren has many talents outside of searching for hidden relics and driving fast cars. She is a ray of sunshine at the office and keeps the rest of the team from going crazy with her neatness and organization. Lauren has helped a ton of users get their own custom iPhone and Android App, and is a life saver in the billing department. She can frequently be heard after a phone call exclaiming “I love our users!” Laurens passion is marketing and she is excited to use her creative talents to build the Sermon Network worldwide!
Chris joined the sermon.net team in early 2012. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in the spring of 2010 with a BA in Creative writing specializing in history, technology, and cultures from around the world. He enjoys writing science fiction, fantasy & historical fiction mostly but has been known to write off the wall pieces such as how Journey is an Oklahoma band instead of from California (this has to do with the group membership being more important than the place it was formed, just as with the ecclesia - called out Assembly - being the people who make up a church instead of the building where the people meet to worship). Chris also has three AS degrees from Tulsa Community College for Computer Science, works as a leader in AWANAs mentoring the youth of his church, and runs the sound board during services most weeks. He also spouts out random trivia and humor to keep things fun.
Born in Russia, Kirill received his degree in Applied Mathematics at Rostov State University. Without Kirill there would be no Sermon Network. Kirill is the software technician that makes it happen. Along with the rest of the development team, Kirill takes the often “overwhelming” list from Dave and builds it out. No small task but he always does it with a smile! Kirill loves the mountains, skiing, travelling, and large bodies of water (nothing beats a warm day at the Lake). He often likes to swim as an opportunity to forget that computers even exist. : )
Mariann has the awesome responsibility of keeping everything at sermon.net straight and orderly. Although she would say that is impossible, she does an amazing job! Mariann received her degree in Accounting from Northeastern State University of Oklahoma as a Magna Cum Laude graduate. Her accounting background includes: fifteen years of oil and gas, three years of manufacturing, five years of partnership, trust and estate. She is an avid golfer and fishing enthusiast as well as a league bowler.
Chairman of the Board of Directors
Phil is an entrepreneur, author, philanthropist, and Christian who has dedicated his time and resources to help sermon.net spread the Word of God worldwide. He was originally an investor in the for-profit SermonShare, LLC, and took the lead in bringing other successful Christians together to purchase the company and convert it into the non-profit sermon.net, with the mission of aiding in the fulfillment of the Great Commission by spreading Christian teachings.
